2027 Global Advisory Board — Voluntary Appointments
FFIG is inviting experienced professionals to serve on its 2027 Global Advisory Board. These voluntary appointments are designed for respected leaders passionate about advancing women's economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, MSME development, leadership, innovation and sustainable global impact.
The Advisory Board provides strategic guidance to the Executive Leadership Team and contributes expertise that strengthens FFIG's programmes, partnerships, governance and international growth. Members are not involved in day-to-day management.
Term: one year (2027). Commitment: voluntary and non-remunerated, approximately 3–5 hours per month, with quarterly virtual board meetings.
Legal Advisory Board Member
Purpose
Provide strategic legal guidance to strengthen governance, compliance, international operations and organisational risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on governance and legal best practices.
- Review organisational policies and governance frameworks.
- Provide guidance on contracts, MOUs and strategic agreements.
- Advise on regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Identify potential legal risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support intellectual property and brand protection where appropriate.
Financial Advisory Board Member
Purpose
Provide strategic financial oversight and guidance supporting FFIG's sustainability, governance and international growth.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on financial strategy and planning.
- Support sound financial governance and controls.
- Guide budgeting and financial sustainability.
- Advise on financial reporting and compliance.
Partnerships & Sponsorship Advisory Board Member
Purpose
Support the development of strategic partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and international collaborations that strengthen FFIG's impact.
Key responsibilities
- Identify prospective corporate and institutional partners.
- Introduce sponsorship opportunities.
- Advise on partnership strategies.
- Support relationship development with governments, NGOs, foundations and international organisations.
- Review partnership proposals and sponsorship strategies.
- Assist in positioning FFIG for strategic collaborations.
Growth Strategy Advisory Board Member
Purpose
Support FFIG's international expansion and organisational growth through strategic planning and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on global growth strategies.
- Identify expansion opportunities into new markets.
- Recommend scalable business models.
- Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide guidance on organisational positioning and competitive advantage.
- Review strategic plans and long-term growth objectives.
Resource Mobilisation & Development Advisory Board Member
Purpose
Support FFIG in mobilising resources to expand programmes and strengthen organisational sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on fundraising strategies.
- Identify grant opportunities.
- Support donor engagement.
- Recommend innovative financing approaches.
- Introduce philanthropic networks where appropriate.
- Guide resource mobilisation planning.
